Who Ya With

This is a season where you will need to choose sides. This is not a season in time where you will be able to straddle the fence. The pressure is on everything that mankind puts its trust in as it relates to this natural world. The fibers of this world's systems are under attack by natural forces that all lead to a core spiritual problem. God is making a clear distinction between Himself and every other thing that wants to exalt itself.

Here are a couple of strong reminders from God's Word on those who want to straddle the fence:

Revelation 3:15-17 NIV

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! [16] So, because you are lukewarm---neither hot nor cold---I am about to spit you out of my mouth. [17] You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked."

Matthew 6:24 NIV

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."

Remember, money is a tool that is used to build things. If you want to build a business, you are going to need the skill to run the business and money to fuel its start. If you want to build a house, you are going to hire the skilled workers to build it and you will need money to compensate those skilled workers. Our character and God given vision should be our guiding principles. Money is the tool we use to build the vision. Money is never a guide in and of itself.

Let's be on fire in the things that we are called to do! Let no one ever say that we were lukewarm in our actions. Let's be clear and decisive like Joshua's statement below.

Joshua 24:15 NIV

"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Be Bold! Be Decisive! Be Full of Faith!
