It all started Thursday, July 28, 2016. Regional showcases and auditions were held across the country where hip hop artists competed for a shot at becoming selected to perform LIVE at The Harlem Music Festival during Harlem Week — the largest outdoor festival in New York City.
It was the official launch of Clean Money Music™ presented by Voza Rivers, Chamber of Commerce & 360EI Records. Select artists were chosen from Florida, Detroit, Philadelphia and New York, who had an opportunity to perform in front of industry executives, event organizers, Grammy award winning producers and a crowd of tough harlem music critics.
Participants included Timothy Brown, Pete Colon, Bobby Booshay & KB, Journalist, Hoodrise Music featuring Dr. Nashon Walker, Lil Had and Focus. Artists were judged based on energy, originality, lyrical content, stage presence, appearance and crowd engagement. Although it was a very tough decision, the verdict is in.
And the winner is Bobby Booshay & KB!
This dynamic sibling duo rocked the crowd with their hot singles "Grindin" and "World on Fire." The brothers will receive a promotions package valued at $10,000.00 which includes Top Banner ads on newworldstation.com, Live radio interviews, Live performances at the New York City Marathon, perform during the Clean Money Music Tour, press releases, retractable banners, posters, business cards and much more.
